Hi all, I'm using the following to convert from a 32 bit Uns value, src[i], which contains a 16bit left and right channel sample from my codec as 1 32bit value. I'm wondering is there a more effi...Uns to Floating Point

Hi everyone, I'm trying to implement a HPI handshake between a windows app and my c6711dsk. I have this working without DSP/BIOS, but I can't get it to work using DSP/BIOS. This is my dsp c...HPI and DSP/BIOS

I imagine the carrier signal is produced by the demodulator to be in-phase with the local oscillators. bg_ie@yahoo.com (Barry) wrote in message news: ... > Hi everyone, > > I'm trying to d...Re: Demodulation Error

Your quantization noise will be at the ADCs and DACs, the quantization noise will be negligible on the 32bit floating point processor. The AIC23 is 16 bit for each channel if I remember correctly. ...Re: Quantization Noise Current Spectral Density

Hi all, I'm writing an app which allows me to load a .out onto my dsp board, and in turn to communicate with my board (C6711DSK). So far I have been successful using handshaking, but I would also...HPI host to target interrupting

Hi, I was thinking about powering my C6711DSK and my daughterboard codec with a switch mode power supply. I need to put these items in a remote box as well as a number of other electric items, fe...Switch Mode Power Supplies

Hi, I'm using the two McBSPs on my board to communicate with a Codec. I'm interested in writing an application or labview driver which I can use to control certain parameters relating to the co...c6711DSK Peripheral Options

Zero-Cross Detect

With respect to a Codec, what exactly is Zero-Cross Detect? Again with respect to a Codec, what is ment by de-emphasis control - my Codec give me a number of frequencies to select when enabling this...Zero-Cross Detect

AIC23, DC coupled?

I'm guessing that the AIC23 is AC coupled. Does anyone know at what frequencies this audio codec begin to induce phase shifts? Would below 40Hz be a reasonable assumption? Lower still perhaps? ...AIC23, DC coupled?

Hallo all, I'm processing a broadband signal. The problem I'm having is that when I bandpass the band I'm interested in, I'm not suppressing the other bands enough and I'm getting a distorted out...Filter Options
