Angular Momentum

The angular momentum of a mass $ m$ rotating in a circle of radius $ R$ with angular velocity $ \omega $ (rad/s), is defined by

$

where $ I=mR^2$ denotes the mass moment of inertia of the rigid body (§B.4.4).
