Hello, I am trying to run a project created for SHARC processor. I have a C function that is called from an assembly routine. When I run the project the emulator stops at the first line of the C function and outputs this funny message: "target halted due to software breakpoint but no breakpoint found at address..." I know that the problem is related to interrupts. When I click on F11 (ste...

I am facing problem in accessing the PCI memory location .The PLX 9656 registers are memory mapped into DSP memory location(starting from 0x02800000h) in which 0x02800000h indicates PCI DEVICE and VENDOR ID register(32 bit) which is read only. But when I am accessing that location I am getting some junk value . These are the things I did: I have done some DSP system configuration like ...

Here's a brief overview of my setup: I am transferring serial data to and from the AD1939 codecs over 6 data lines (ADATA x 2, DDATA x 4). Each data line is running in stereo mode, 64 bits per frame. Configuration is managed via SPI, and I've been able to verify that configuration is correctly sent and received. The part that is causing me grief is letting the codecs run the BCLK and L...

Any reason why one should be preferred? Apart from the obvious ie BGA is smaller, but one can get at the pins with a scope with LQFP Dirk

I'm using a high precision xtal osc module for the audio peripherals (12.288MHz). Are there likely to be any problems if I use this as the clock input to the ADI DSP with a 16:1 multiplier chosen? [Instead of 25MHz with 8:1] Dirk

It seems that Digikey is going to stop selling ADSP-21065 development kit ADDS-21065L-EZLITE. When I check the availability of this item this legend is shown: "Part will become a non-stocking item when stock is depleted; minimums will apply" It sounds like that kit is not being manufactured. Does any of know if ADSP-21065L is near the EOL? Regards Jose

I am having great difficulty in writing to a flash: it just will not do it! I think my commands for the particular flash are correct and I am allowing for a varying delay as well as number of nop's for write. > once it did work and I noticed, then, for some reason the flash had been populated with '1's (I don't know how). > Does erase populate the flash with '1's or '0's? > > How can I in
