EZKIT 21160 SPORT - Roger - Oct 4 18:26:00 2003

Hello,

Do someone know, if the SPORT-Connectors tolerate 5V TTL-Levels ???
I want to connect the SPORT to an 5V-Device. Is this possible??

Thank's a lot for your help,

Roger

I don't have the hardware manual in front of me, but if it is not possible
you can use something like an lvth244 level shifter. It is a 3.3 to 5V
converter.

Roger,

The data sheet should give you the maximum/minimum input high and low
logic levels.

For bidirectional level translators, TI has the SN74LVC4245. If
you're not concerned with speed or temperature shutdown, check out
maxim's Max337X series... they have a variety of options.

What are other group members using for level translation between
their low voltage systems and 5V logic?
