questions about BF535 EZ kit evaluation board - musii shi - Nov 22 5:34:00 2003

Hi, all
I got a problem when using BF535 Evaluation board EZ-KIT.
When I launched Virtual DSP++, and select the session of ADSP-21535 EZ-KIT Lite, it met a problem and the err msg is something like:
"The current driver version is: 00.00.00. A minimum driver version of 03.00.00 is required. Please press OK. Close down visual DSP, and unplug the USB cable from your EZ-KIT Lite board. Plug the USB cable back into your EZ-KIT Lite board and launch Visual DSP again."
I followed the instruction but it did not work out.
So I uninstall Visual DSP and any related USB drivers (WmUSBEz.*), disconnecting the USB cable and powering down the board. Then VisualDSP++ was reinstalled. But still I got the same err msg... :(
Can anybody be so kind to give a favor to solve this problem? Or any suggestions?
Thx a bunch.

I would try manually updating the device driver within Windows'
Device Manager. The EZ-KIT driver should be on the VisualDSP++ CD
that should have come with the EZ-KIT. If you downloaded a later
version of the software (you didn't mention which version of VDSP
you were using), it'll be in the "temporary" directory that is
created when you run the single-file VisualDSP++ installer.

If all of that fails, I would contact ADI Tools support
().
