ADSP 21992 noise near 8khz - weird_ed_edison - Jul 27 19:51:00 2004

Dear All,

Does anyone experience noise around 8khz while using the ADSP21992
DSP? My circuit seems to have some noise around this frequency. I
have tried removing all components I believed could be causing it,
but it still persists. I was wondering if the 8khz noise is
inherent in the DSP chip itself.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Sincerely,

Weird ED

What kind of noise? audible or electrical? I'd probe around with an
oscope first. If it's crosstalk I'd make a small wire loop with the
scope probe tip and probe ground . I would then go around the board
with this loop to determine the noise source.
