Is there any company provide WinCE support for ADI Blackfin processor?
I know there is a uClinux project for Blackfin, but it seems there is
no support from Wince platform.

Hello,

I don't know the answer to your question. But there is
a directory of the Third Party Developers on ADI's
website. I believe that is a good starting point for
searching for that company.

Can be true, but that's changing... There are tools
from GreenHills (www.ghs.com) for Blackfin. And some
more...

... here is what I refer to when I say "that's
changing" and "some more..."

uCLinux is already available for Blackfin processors.
I think it is of much benefit than WinCE, because it
is "open". Go there: blackfin.uclinux.org Network
connectivity is solved!!

As for VisualDSP, yes you should either implement your
own stacks and additional stuff, or buy it already
implemented by vendors... For this the Third Party
Developers Network is a great place to start. Recently
I was looking for TCP/IP on a SHARC or Blackfin
processor and found around 8 to 10 companies providing
solutions.
