problem in JTAG connection - sathish chandra - Dec 31 0:08:00 2005



I wrote a small code in adsp2191 and that code is building properly in simulator. If i use emulator to connect to the target through JTAG CONNECTOR,the code build message will comes and immediatly in the output window i am receiving the following ERROR  message,
 
 
        : JTAG SCAN FAILED AND EMULATOR POWER CONNECTION ERROR

Sounds like the order you turn things on makes a difference. Try powering
up the target before connecting the jtag. Or just make sure power is on
the target correctly, maybe you need multiple supplies and one isn't
working.
