earlierly,when i tried to start up the VisualDSP++ Environment by double-click the icon,
there is no response all the time.
Then i uninstalled it and installed it again, the result was unchanged. i donot know what's the
problem.
   
  Who could tell me what's the problem?

Hi Maoqi,

usually VisualDSP comes up with the last target connected.
If it fails to connect to the target, it may wait forever depending on the 
state of the target. Try these tests:
1) after launching VisualDSP++ and while it hangs, disconnect your target.
    possibly, it comes up now with an error message
2) while launching VisualDSP++, hold the Shift-Key pressed down.
   VisualDSP++ should come up with the target disconnected.
3) while VisualDSP++ hangs, check with the TaskManager, if the task idde.exe   
   exists. If so, try to kill this process. If not, VisualDSP++ hasn't started
   or has silently gone away (which should not happen).
