Initiate reboot from running TS system - andrewetkinson - Jul 10 8:35:34 2007

Hi there,

does anyone know how to initiate a complete TigerSHARC reboot from a
running system by software?

In the TS documentation I read that a software reset is initiated by
setting the appropriate bit in the EMUCTL register. According to my
understanding this should initiate a reboot, if the BOOTDSBL bit is
also cleared.
But setting SWRST somehow has no effect. Maybe the processor has to be
in a special mode?
