Digital Zoom Application - miracle_sksim - Oct 1 11:57:20 2007

Hey,

Just like to check with you experts. In regards of video.

A row there are 1716 bytes.

If i have a display of 720 x 480 pixels.

and i will like to hv a 2x digital zoom.

So what i will do is by slicing 720/2 and 480/2

which gives me 360 x 240. My video format is 4:2:2

And each pixel in the column i duplicate 1 time meaning CbYCrY becomes
CbCbYYCrCrYY or CbYCrY (CbYCrY)-> this set copy from previous. Not
sure which is the right one ?

And with the duplication it fills up to 720 since i duplicate each set
1 time.

then for the rows, i duplicate it too meaning i have two rows of same
information and this leads eventually to 480 lines.

meaning row 1 information will copy to row 2 and row 2 copy to row 3
and so on....

So not sure it is the right way to do so. Anyone can enlighten me will
be great. thanks.

Rgds,
