I hope I am understanding your Q correctly. During the linking process, you do have an option to generate an additional map file. This can be done thru proj options>link>general>additional output>generate symbol map. This shall create a map.xml file which described the memory layout, the start addresses of the linked libraries(.dlb) and compiled objects(.doj). Further, the LDF shall allow you to move these sections around during the linking process. By default VDK defines an LDF but you can create your own. I would recommend reading EE-69 for more info on how to do this. It can be found with the related code at: http://www.analog.com/processors/sharc/technicalLibrary/applicationNotes /index.html cheers Gopal Erinjippurath ..DXE files <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adsp/message/5967;_ylc=X3oDMTJxYmQ3YTMzBF 9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzEwNzM3NDgEZ3Jwc3BJZAMxNzA1MDA0NzI2BG1zZ0lkAzU5Nj cEc2VjA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTE5MzQ3MzY0Nw--> Posted by: "m...@yahoo.co.in" m...@yahoo.co.in <mailto:m...@yahoo.co.in?Subject= Re%3A%2EDXE%20%20files> malli_1729 <http://profiles.yahoo.com/malli_1729> Fri Oct 26, 2007 6:13 am (PST) Hi!
