EZKit lockup on boot from flash - dirk...@gmail.com - Nov 2 8:04:38 2007

I've been playing around with the flash programming and booting using the
Engineer-to-Engineer note EE-223. I followed example Step 3B (blink program), reset the board
and the LEDs sequence OK after booting from flash.
Problem is that the VisualDSP dev system will no longer connect with it.
How do I get back in????

RE: EZKit lockup on boot from flash - George Kadziolka - Nov 2 9:26:25 2007

Hi Dirk,

It is possible that some bad boot code has caused the processor to run off
into the weeds thereby preventing a connection with the ICE (or Debug Agent,
if using the USB connection to the EZKIT). I would suggest setting the boot
mode for something other than 8/16 bit wide Flash boot (eg SPI slave or
master boot) and try again.

Cheers,

George Kadziolka
