passing data between BF533 and FPGA EZ-Extender - eter...@hotmail.com - Jan 13 22:53:26 2008

I'm exploring the possibility of implement the FPGA EZ-Extender as a calculating unit that
will take data from BF533, calculate the result, and send the data back to BF533. All of the
data transfer are through PPI. However, I am having trouble trying to get the two to send data
to each other. I am guessing the problem might have to do with the clock. Does anyone have
experience on working on BF533 and FPGA EZ-Extender or know where I can find examples on how to
work this out?

I have transferred data from one CMOS sensor to the Blackfin using the PPI.
Maybe this can help you.

This note can be useful for you
Interfacing Micron MT9V022 image sensors to Blackfin processorsEE 258

It is also a high speed interface. 27 MHz.

Hello,

Did you try to find any examples within the VDSP installation directory?
