Hi,
I have a custom board with BF534 processor and spansion flash. When try to load the flash
driver onto the board. I get the following error.

"JTAG scan failed- check target power and emulator connection.
Cannot load memory when target is running.
error loading section "L1_code" to target."
sometimes I get the following error as well.
" Unable to halt processor, JTAG communication failed. Possible error at address:
0x8579D3DE.
Could not halt after reset
Warning: External memory is disabled for this region of memory.
Warning: External memory is disabled for this region of memory.
Warning: External memory is disabled for this region of memory."

Pls suggest me some pointers to trouble shoot the error.

PS: The VDSP5.0 was able to recognise the target scan chain and it was able to connect to the
target. When i tried downloading the flash driver i am getting this error
