ADSP-208x loader / splitter problem - Hársfalvi Levente - Jan 4 15:00:00 2002

Hi All! I have some problems with the ADSP-218x loader / splitter. I'm trying to
generate a bootable image that I want to put into an EPROM and boot by
BDMA. But this util keeps cheating me.

The DSP I'm using is a 2188M. Currently no overlays are involved (I've
already removed all C and LDF overlay references from my project). The
Eprom is a (64K) 27C512 (I guess the image should fit). As I see, the
DSP can read the EPROM, and the bootstrap is placed into the correct
address (0x0000) since I can see the code when I power up the board
under control of the 218x EZ-ICE. I can also dump the Eprom via the
EZ-ICE and it seems to be correct in itself (e.g. it is the same as the
image I put into the Eprom).

The problem must be somewhere around the linking of the bootable image.
...But where?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks, Levente
