MPEG-2/4 AAC decoder! - ajit gupta - Oct 9 0:19:00 2003

Hello All,
I need a favor. Can somebody tell me about the
companies who are having MPEG-2/4 AAC decoder and
among all of them who is having the best decoder?
If somebody has already worked on AAC, may he/she
share his/her experience about its performance,
complexity, memory requirment, cycle count, no of
channels supported by it for different profiles and
some other related stuff which I may be forgetting to
ask in this mail? From where can we get the reference
test vectors? How do we decide which one is best
decoder among all existing decoders?
Can somebody share some good documents, links related
to MPEG-2/4 AAC techonlogy, even he/she can suggest
some good books on audio also, which can explain
basics of audio.

Waiting for reply.

Regards,
Ajit
