I use my pc for center of hobby to use a backing to play songs, learning
tools and recording.  Some songs I use midi as backing tracks and record an
analog guitar on another track.

I have external 8 channel hardware mixer and software for midi sequencer
muli track audio management.

The sound quality seems pretty good when I record and playback with the sb
Value Live in my Dell.  What does a more expensive sound card get you?
