help with the basics - clcada - Dec 10 17:39:00 2005

Hi...
I have just started reading about digital signal processing and I am a
bit confused. I was wondering if you guys could help me... with
probably too easy stuff.
So... in order to convert an analogue electrical waveform into a
digital wave, there are 3 steps: anti aliasing filtering, sampling and
quantization...
What exactly happens to the waveform during each stage?
Do you know any sites where I can find any graphs that exemplify this
process?
	Thank you!!!

I'll be forever indebted!:)
