Hi, I would like to know the resolution of PWM generated by TMS320F2812. I am new to DSP, learning things gradually. Can any of you answer me? Thanks in advance. you can also email me to my following ID n...@gmail.com Naayagi Check Out Industry's First Single-Chip, Multi-Format, Real-Time HD Video Transcoding Solution for Commercial & Consumer End Equipment: www.ti.com/dm6467 You can post a message or access and search the archives of this group on DSPRelated.com: http://www.dsprelated.com/groups/c28x/1.php _____________________________________
Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. If i calculate it comes around 17.8(is it in the unit of samples per second?). one more thing, If i look at the data manual of TMS320F2812, they mentioned the clock as 150Mhz, where as if i look at the eZdsp starter kit of TMS320F2812 features, it has 30Mhz clock. Why there is a difference?. Which one of the clock to consider? Because i have to go for starter kit for my initial work. Another doubt is, DSP like TMS320F28044 has 150ps resolution in its output, i saw it in datamanual. If i purchase the starter kit of F28044(with clock frequency 20Mhz) will i get the same resolution in its output? I would also like to know whether this feature of 150ps PWM is available in TMS320F2812? Sorry to trouble you.
