F2812, I need Help - abiola olayiwola - May 12 8:06:02 2006

Hi
I am currently working on a digital controller for a Power factor Correction
(PFC) circuit. My design approach is an RST pole placement approach. I have
a PFC demo board, and my controller is matlab based i.e was designed using
matlab and simulink. Here are my problems
1. My work requires me to use the TMS320F2812 and i got totally thrown out
since im new to DSP.
I have read couples of books and papers but still not clear, I
actually generated the c code for my controller using realtime workshop in
matlab and generated assembly language for the f2812 using code composer
studio, now that i have done this, do i need any additional code to be
written in other to get my work going? Please I will be glad for quick
reponse i desperately need help on this matter
and besides I dont mind speaking to whoever can offer me some help or guide
me thru my research. My work can be provided upon request.
Thanks

Re: F2812, I need Help - chirag jagadish - May 15 8:16:01 2006

hi

matlab generated code using real time workshop is supposed to work without any other extra
code

i have tried matlab real time workshop for c2000 series
it generates C code which can be viewed in ccs also and can be modified, but i have seen that
it generates a lot of code for a huge generalization and is difficult to understand(for me)

  bye
