i am using a crystal of 30MHz. but i dont know the crystal specification. i have used 22 pf load capacitors, but the frequency generated is 10 MHz. (i suppose there could be some impedance mismatch) so if someone could suggest the vendor for crystal oscillators or other solution. ------------------------------------ Check Out Industry's First Single-Chip, Multi-Format, Real-Time HD Video Transcoding Solution for Commercial & Consumer End Equipment: www.ti.com/dm6467 You can post a message or access and search the archives of this group on DSPRelated.com: http://www.dsprelated.com/groups/c28x/1.php _____________________________________
Hi
It's better use bigger Cap. like 33pF capacitor.
It's my experience.
for more information see (sprs174O-section 3-10)

That is a crystal with fundamental frequency of 10MHz. With proper configuration, it can work at 3rd harmonic. If you don't know the exact parameters, change a crystal with fundamental frequency of 30MHz. I ran into the same problem once.
