hi all. i am facing a problem regarding to the tms320f2812 dsp chip.when i give a power supply 12V, the current increase to 1A and the dsp chip become hot. and how to solve it?will it affected to the board? before this, the current is 0.6A but when i try to power up the board yesterday, the current increase to 1A and the dsp chip become hot. i have no idea why it become like that. i have disconnected all the connection to the board and the result is still same. can anybody help me. thanks ------------------------------------ OMAP35x EVM jump-starts low-power apps ------------------------------------ The modular and extensible OMAP35x Evaluation Module (EVM) enables developers to start building applications based on the OMAP35x architecture:http://www.DSPRelated.com/omap35x You can post a message or access and search the archives of this group on DSPRelated.com: http://www.dsprelated.com/groups/c28x/1.php _____________________________________

that chip seems to be broken
replace it with a new one
