hello everybody , i am now in a stage to burn the rom for the dsp . hex30 is a suitable uility for the .out file conversion to hex , but can anyone tell me that where can i get the manuals of these utilities and other provided with the dsk ? thank you Saqib Ali |

Hello Saqib The HEX30 documentation can be found in TMS320C3x/C4x Assembly Language Tools Users Guide, SPRU035. HEX30 has a lot of capability, but it can also be a bit difficult to use the first time out. If you have been using the DSK rom utility HEX2ROM, you can use that utlity to generate a HEX30 command file (hit the 'g' key for generate). This may help you in the intial HEX30 setup.
