I'm having troubles getting the DMA and the BSP to syncronize with
interrupts.
In general I cannot get the DMA to fire an interrupt after a block
transfer is complete.... Can i interface any secondary memory to c54x DSP.

Please check out the information which is present here. In
CST54x there is no CLKS pin. It might be present in other series like
CST5402....
