C5402 DSK asm code for codec - Doreen Yeo Lee Guek - Nov 14 9:10:00 2000

Good day.

1)Just like to find out whether anyone try to hand code in assembly for
C5402 DSK codec example? examples in DSK are C coded and clueless about the
memory mapping, interrupt setting etc.

2) Tried to implement asm code for codec... setup McBSP1 and DMA
ch2(receive) & ch3(transmit) for codec.. DMA ch2 interrupt branch to a FIR
routine...the interrup service routine is working fine but the codec is
enabled even when DSP is halted! then the DSK will crash on me with error as
follows:-

Cc-app
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If problem persists, contact the program vendor.

have you encounter this problem before?

Regards,
Doreen
