I have a Spectrum Digital TMS320C5409 EVM board, I need to burn flash of this board to boot. I have talk with Spectrum about SDFlash but they said me that this board is not suported by SDFlash. I have talk too with Texas Instruments and they said me that is possible burn the Flash using a FlashBurn aplication and CodeComposer. I download FlasBurn from CodeComposer update but when I try to use it I have a problem: For use a FlashBurn I need a FBTC program but in the FlashBurn folders I only find the FBTC program for c5402 and c5416 DSPs. Any people have use a FlasBurn in Spectrum Digital TMS320C5409 EVM board? or Any people have a FBTC for c5409? Thank you for all! <Nar |

Have you tried the included FBTC? The 5409 isn't much different than a 5416, I use the same one for 5410 and 5416 flashing. The real key is support for the flash that is on the board, I had to rewrite it to support my flash, but other than that I don't remember having much trouble getting it to work.
