Do you have a 5416 DSK or EVM card? You should have a strong reason. Otherwise, if you're just starting to get into DSP, you should use a newer device, such as C55xx or C64xx. -Jeff
Mohammad Hashemi Nejad- > i want to use this ic in my university project becuase its specification (160 mips and ram capacity is match to my > desired function) i have no DSK or EVM card every thing should be on my board So you will design your own board? In that case I would suggest that you download the schematic for the appropriate DSK card and follow that. > then sorry about a mistake in my previouse mail i meant deference between tms320VC5416 and tms320C5416 > one has "VC" the other has "C" in between 'VC' designates mixed voltage devices, typically with 3.3V I/O and a separate Vcc core. 'C' is the old designator for 5V parts. > why do you suggest to use C55xx or C64xx They are newer devices. You would find more peer support in online forums if you're using newer devices. -Jeff > Jeff Brower <j...@signalogic.com> wrote: > Mohammad Hashemi Nejad- > >> is there any defferent between tms320c5416 and tms320c5416 >> amd where should i start learning to start working and programming this ic through CCS >> thanks in advance > > Why did you choose C5416?
