Dear Sir\Madam;

I want to design a fast connect modem by c54cst. It has a "Isfastconnect" bit which
when I activate it it could connect after 2.8s for 2400bps and after 7.8s for 4800bps. It uses
v22 for 2400 and v32 for 4800.
Does any body knows about the minimum connect time for a modem based on technical limitation?
If we change the v32 with an alternate is it possible to decrease time?

I want a modem for 4800bps with 0.5s connect time.???
