Can my old XDS510 work properly with the CCS? - Jane Shen - Apr 9 21:02:00 2001

Hi all,
I had an old version XDS510, which came with the C5X emulator (3 years
ago). Now I bought a CCS 1.20. I noticed that in the CCS setup, I could
add a XDS510 emulator board to work with the CCS.
Can my old XDS510 work properly with the new CCS?
I connect the XDS510 through a JTAG cable to the 5402DSK JTAG pod,
config the CCS to run with XDS510 emulator board, put the pin1 of DIP
switch on 5402DSK as "UP", run the CCS and got an error message as:
can't initialize target DSP I/O port =0x0240.
Am I on the wrong direction trying to make the old XDS510 work? Can
anyboady give me a light on this?

Thanks in advance.
