ADC 7490 interface SPI with TMS320VC5510 | TMS320C55x

hi. is there anyone know how i want to interface both of this devices? actually i have
already make a circuit for ADC 7490 to connect the 12 output from this deVice to VC5510. the
problem is how i want to make an SPI interface this devices? 

is there i m just have to do programming in c to read the 16 bit data from the ADC7490? the
problem is vc5510 has on board codec 2 channel, so i m not using this AIC23 , i m just connect
this AD7490 with MCBSP1 and MCBSP 2,

what is my McBSP operation? should it be master or slave?
can anyone show me the example of this program how to read the 16 bit data from ad7490? 

if there anything i m misunderstand of my problem hope anyone would come to show me .
