about USB module - dizzybeetle - Jul 30 6:50:00 2003

hello!
i've a question about the power supply of the USB module of c55x.
in c55x,the usb supply voltage (USBVdd) is the same level with the
io,+3.3v, but in the USB1.1 specification, the Vbus voltage should be
+5v. does it mean it cannot be connected directly through a usb
connector to usb host?

USBVdd is nothing else then power for IO pins of USB. It needs to
be about same then IO voltage. Therefore, most reasonable thing to
do would be to connect USBVdd to IO power supply.

Indrek.
