We have had much grief trying to get SD support to work. Almost a year
ago I finally got the following response from someone at Ti:
'"Dear Mr. Pignon,
Thank you for contacting Texas
Instruments. Your request has been received and case number 3177634 has been assigned to your
inquiry.
We are sorry for the long delay in answering your question. We just
received today form our sortware development team the following information.
Q: [Trying to write to our SD card, on port 0. Can't get communication with it working, despite
much programming trickery. The documentation and app notes are full of horrible inconsistencies
and simple mistakes. Can you direct us to some good source of help, e.g. sample code which has
actually been tested recently on a real system? Talking about the C5509 144 Mhz DSP.] A: There is currently no CSL support for SD card. The source code provided in the
application note is outdated and needs a couple of code updates. There are some changes
with the latest CSL, therefore we are providing you with the updated source code. This
code is included in a project that references the latest CSL in Code Composer Studio 2.2. Please continue to monitor the WEB site for other updates.
Best regards,
Matthias Schmitt Application Support Engineer Texas Instruments European Product Information Center http://www-k.ext.ti.com/sc/technical-support/pic/euro.htm "
Haven't seen any relevant updates on the site as yet.
Has anybody?
