is there some example code anywhere for getting data between a DSK5509A and a PC via USB?
I need to understand the data rate / latency issues involved. (preferably before I go out &
buy the DSK board in case it doesn't work for my uses)

from the following link:

Hi,

I've got some troubles running the USB properly on my DSK5509A board too. I used the USB
example code from SpecDig
(http://c5000.spectrumdigital.com/evm5509a/files/usbexample/example_usb.html), which compiles
without errors and also seems to run properly with the LibUSB driver (v0.1.8.0): attaching the
DSK to the PC results in a new hardware manager entry "LibUsb-Win32, Version 02/15/2004,
0.1.8.0". But the Win32 application "packet.exe" hosted by SpecDig can't find
the device though VID/PID are set properly.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding this issue?
