Are you running an example program that was provided by eDSP?? If not, I suggest that you run and understand the examples before you try to do anything else. > _ when i'm trying to Connect the CCS to the Kite while the HPI is > connect .. it's give an error msg , the there is NO Target connect > once i disconnect the HPI .. the CCS connect . 2. Did you install the 2 pin power connector on your DSK?? If yes, does the LED blink with the operating mode?? > > _ i don't know if there another way to display the output (Words) from > the DSP on my PC . 3. There are 2 ways to perform your output - 'push' the output from the DSP [DSP Services] or 'pull' the output from the PC [Host Services]. The documentation looks like DSP Services [what it sounds like you are planning to use] will be limited to about 4 K chars/sec. BTW, since I have had a few questions on eDSP and did some investigation. The owner of the company is very much a 'good guy' and has been very active in making DSPs more usable to students since the 6211 DSK came out several years ago. Judging from the providing documentation, I have great confidence that the provided software will work well for its intended use. I mention this because there some products out there that provide very little useful software/documentation. [This reflects my personal opinion and I am not affiliated with eDSP]. mikedunn > > i'll be grateful if someone help me in that > > Thanks in advanced .. > > Omnia M. > --- In c...@yahoogroups.com, "Michael Dunn" <mike.dunn.001@...> wrote: > > > > Omnia, > > > > On 6/11/08, omnia.mostafa21 <omnia.mostafa21@...> wrote: > > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > I have a DSP C6713DSK and its HPI DaughterCard .. i want to read from > > > the USB on the HyperTerminal . > > > > > > > I have never used this daughtercard [I am not sure who made it]. > > > > The manufacturer should have provided information [and ideally one > or more > > example programs] on the data format that is required to be sent to the > > endpoint buffer [or details on a higher level protocol if that is > used] to > > implement memory reads and writes. > > > > I think that the HyperTerminal only sends/receives ASCII data which > might be > > a problem. > > > > Check your documentation and post the HPI/USB daughtercard > manufacturer so > > that maybe someone else with the same board might help. > > > > > > > > The CCS 3.3 can't connect with the DSK while the HPI is connected to > > > it, even if its enable switch is off. > > > > > > > I don't understand this.
