C6711 McBSP port 1 - s358289 - Oct 16 11:08:00 2002

Hi all,

I tried to used the C6711 DSK's McBSP port 1 to write data through
the DX1 pin on the extension bus and observed data signal from the
Tektroniz digital oscilloscope, but how come there was no any
changes occured from DX1 pin??? The McBSP was generated from the
internal clock source and I used the CPU polling to wake up the
transmitter. No receiver setup is required, since i only want to
configure the registers on my daugutercard.

I was followed TI's McBSP initialisation PDF (SPRA488B) steps and
configured the McBSP corresponded registers , but still can't get it
worked!

Could anyone perhaps offered me a McBSP sample code i.e. used the
DSP BIOS configuration GUI to me ASAP, thanks a lot??

Stanley
