DSP BIOS PRD tick variable for timing measurements - pn2500 - Aug 12 19:38:35 2008

Hi,

Is there any way to read the BIOS PRD timer tick value to use for 
execution timing measurements?  There is not much documentation in the 
BIOS manual related to the PRD_f_tick (sp?) function, and I see 
variables in the memory map like PRD_d_tickh but nothing in the help 
file about this.
