Dear all I'm using the C6701 EVM board, and now I need a daughterboard with ROM on it so I can download the program to ROM and operate the EVM in stand-alone mode. I tried to find information in TI's web, but the daughterboards they provided seem to be too "powerful" for me. I need a daughterboard with simply a ROM on it.Can anyone provide me information about this? Thanks in advance. Koro Chen Associate Researcher ITRI |

The async EMIF interface is there on the daughtercard connectors. Just make one in the lab -- a day's work. Jeff Brower system engineer Signalogic |

That board has a Flash EEPROM on it (U12). My advice would be to follow that schematic as closely as possible. Good luck with the project. I hope it goes great for you. -Jeff > --- In , Jeff Brower <jbrower@s...> wrote: > > Koro- > > > > > I'm using the C6701 EVM board, and now I need a daughterboard > with > > > ROM on it so I can download the program to ROM and operate the > EVM in > > > stand-alone mode.
