XDS510PP PLUS JTAG and usb converter - =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Damien_Courouss=E9?= - Jul 13 16:00:21 2006

Dear DSP experts,

We own a XDS510PP PLUS JTAG emulator, which works on a parallel port.
We would like to use it with a laptop, but as you know most of the
laptops are now supplied without parallel port!
Therefore, I am interested to know if some of you already used the
XDS510PP Jtag with a USB to parallel port converter, and if you
encountered any differences or limitations compared to the use of the
parallel port.
(We cannot afford buying another USB JTAG emulator, however it is more
powerful).

Best regards,
Damien

Hi Damien

Go to qualtech.com and look at their PC card to parallel port
adapters. I use one for my OrCAD dongle and it works for that.
