CCS Setup board - Error initializing emulator | Code-Composer

Hello everyone,

We have installed drivers for F2808 eZdsp from Spectrum 
Digital into folder where CCStudio is located. Then we 
start Setup CCStudio v.3.1 where we first have to add 
board. We do so, and add F2808 eZdsp board and do save&quit 
dialog. After that we are promted to start CCStudio and we 
do that but there appears error :

Error initializing emulator

I/O Port=540
Board Name: F2808 eZdsp
Cpu Name: cpu_0

Abort: Close Code Composer Studio
Retry: Try to initialize the emulator again
Ignore: Ignore the initialization error and start 
potntionaly without target debugging access.
Diagnostic: Run diagnostic utility

The only time without error is when we select F2812 Device Simulator 
and then we can obtain code from RTW in Matlab. There isn't device 
simulator for F2808 avilable.  We want to set everything right before 
we try running RTW with Target for TI C2000 in Matlab2007b.

Is there any known incompatibility problem for f2808 eZdsp 
and CCstudio?

What could be wrong here?

P.S. We are not hardware engineers, but just want to implement Matlab 
model of arc furnace on a DSP, using TI 2000 blockset and our 
simulink model.

Try to disconnect and reconnect both USB and power cables to the eZdsp, and then run the
CCS again.  It worked for me!  Sorry, I don't know why.
