Code Composer Studio 2.20.00 Flaws | Code-Composer

Dear member of the code composer discussion group, After I have upgraded CCS to version 2.20.00 I had to realize that there are some annoying new problems in this version which were not present in version 2.12.01. I'm running CCS under Windows NT4 with a XDS510PP Plus connected to my target. - The editor sometimes keeps a previous selection highlighted even though the insertion pointer (cursor) has already been inserted at another position within the source file. - When running the tools (compiler, assembler, linker), banners are never shown in the build output window even though they are enabled under compiler feedback in the project's build options. - I'm not able to get any RTDX output anymore to the message log, execution graph or CPU load graph while my code is running on the target. These analysis windows get only updated when the code is stopped. I have RTDX enabled in continuous mode via the RTDX configuration control dialog. Roland, As to RTDX and BIOS real time analysis, if you are using 55xx devices you will need to upgrade your spectrum digital driver to the latest rev to be compatible with CCS 2.2. Drivers are available from Spectrum Digital website.
