C6211 Simulator... help needed | Code-Composer

Hello ! My name is Chirag, I am a student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. I am currently working on the TI c6211 DSK. Our aim is to implement and optimise the G.729 and G.723 voice CODECs on the TI DSP. The main problem faced by us is that we are not able to get the simulator for our DSP working. Due to this a lot of our time is spent unproductively due to the DSP screwing up every now and then. I have selected the correct configuration in the CCS setup (btw, we r using the CCS 2) but when i try to load a program on the simulator I always get an error sayin "Target DSP mismatch". I get a message saying that the program was not made with the correct RTDX protocol. I need help with this issue. Can someone pls tell me how I can get the simulator running and what I need to do to get all my existing projects running on the simulator.... I need help urgently, Thanx

Chirag,

RTDX config is set-up in BIOS config tool for the cdb file, under Input/Output -> RTDX -> RTDX Mode. This has config for Jtag (emulator) or Simulator.
