The clearing of the flash never finishes - antoant2 - Mar 7 10:14:50 2007

I am working with an EVM from Spectrum Digital that uses the
TMS320LF2407. (Note that I am using the 2407 not the 2407A) I am using
Code Composer v.4.12 and the flash programming plug-in to program the
flash with some example code I downloaded from the TI website. The
problem is that most times when I try to program the flash the flash
utility gets stacked in the clearing procedure and never proceeds or
gives an error. I just get the spinning hour glass mouse cursor. I
noticed that in the main code composer window, on the lower left corner
it says "DSP RUNNING" when the flash utility gets stacked. When it
succeeds I see that during the process on the lower left "DSP HALTED"
is displayed. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

Thank you.
