Just getting started, not sure how to begin, looking for help. - jles...@yahoo.com - Mar 19 15:35:42 2007

Hello everyone.

I'm an experienced programmer, but brand new to DSP programming and CCS 3.3.
I'm having a DSP built, and it has a 225MHZ TMS320C6713; 250kGate Virtex-II
and I understand I need Code Composer Studio to program it. I've downloaded
and installed the software, I have two icons on my desktop, I've read the first three chapters
of the getting started guide, and the user's guide 328B,
but I'm a little gun-shy on this setup.

I don't have my hardware in yet, so I guess I need a simulator of some sort, but I'm confused
by my choices in the "Setup CCSTudio " program, and what to do next so I can get my
"hello world" program working.

Any help out there?
