greetings,

we are using DSP TMS320F2812.
In our application we need to generate PWM out puts using compare units of EV. As per the data
sheet normal procedure is

1.load TxPR with required period.
2.configure required timer.
3.load the CMPRx with required duty cycle(active period)

i have a quetion on third point that is if my calculated width is float value how can i load
that ? 

should it be multiplied with clock period.?

i have this question because the compare register is of only 16 bit.

i request you to guide me.
