Codec digital AC impedence matching and tranhybrid balancing - gordon_ao - Aug 12 7:10:00 2003

Hello folks,

I have recently came across some Codec designs using feedback digital
filter to scale/synthesize the external SLIC impedance in order to
achieve impedance matching with the subscribe line impedance. But I
could not find any reference on the formula or theory in the SLIC
impedance scaling. I'd appreciate very much if anyone can shed some
light on this or point me to some good reference. My guess is it is
some sort of bilinear transform.

Thanks a lot,

Gordon
