G.168 defines many testing requirements for EC.
I extract one of them as belows.
......the combined loss (L_Rin,act-L_RET) should be greater than or
equal to that shown in Figure 10.

G.168 also defines how to measure the signal level and peak in
6.4.1.2.1 and 6.4.1.2.2 respectively.
While a engineer developes the algorithm of echo cancellation, I
think there are following two steps.
1. software simulation
2. apply to target hardwae if the software simulation verification
passes
The level/peak measurement device according above two steps are very
different.
I wonder if any software/hardware measurement monitor out there?
