Number of Echo paths. - Maximus Marcus - Sep 20 12:17:00 2002

Hi all,

I have been working G.168 and I have some doubts
regarding number of echo paths.

1. How many number of (distinct) echo paths (generated
from different hybrids) could be there in a 128 ms
echo tail? (For a Network echo canceller)

2. According to G.168, The worst case ERL from the
hybrid is 6 dB. If there are more than one, will each
echo path's ERL be 6 dB or the overall (all echo paths
together) ERL be 6 dB?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Marcus
