I am a beginner in DSP and I need to choose a DSP chip to do some image processing. I appreciate your guidance and suggestions. The following is the tasks that the DSP ganna implement.
The image comes from a CCD TV Camera with 1600X1200 pixels and every pixel is 12 bits. There are about 30 frames every second and every frame will be processed separately. For every frame, I need do two smoothings, one subtraction and one division.
I just start to learn DSP and any suggestions and comments are welcome.
