hi ,this is bhupendra, student of IIT MADRAS, doing my project in
measuring various block based motion estimators performaence. i am
wondering to know how much complex (on over all computation basis) the
dct based motion estimator is than simple block based estimators
(like step searchs, 3drs search,hierarchical). Is the absence of IDCT
block in loop (in dct based motion estimator)really makes the overall
computation comparable with others estimators.
